Black Moon in action

The following is a case study I've been allowed to make public by one of my readers. She read Asteria and was intrigued by what she came across on BML in there. Further personal study on the subject made her conclude certain problems she constantly experienced were being caused by her natal BML and certain hard aspects it is involved in.

She contacted me at some point, we discussed the matter and she agreed to begin work on solving the problem by addressing its causes through magical means. I cautioned her it can prove to be a lengthy and, at least at times, arduous process that can have her experience a roller-coaster ride of emotions as well as macrocosmic struggles for a while, but she was determined to deal with it once and for all. We settled on an approach based gradual increase in intensity so that she wouldn't become overwhelming quickly by any probable unpleasant experiences she'd need to go through to reach the core of the issue and fix it.

I won't be going into her experiences relating to her magical work on herself, nor the work itself. Instead, I will offer one of her revelations relating to how BML's influences have affected her life. Both of us consider it necessary for others to have at least an idea of how this energy works even if in others' cases it can very well manifest differently. Nevertheless, the way these influences manifest individually is not important, but the mechanism is, since recognizing it should help a great deal in understanding this energy more.

Against, but still according to

"When 'the above' says 'no': Reasons spells go bust" is an article that's given me quite the headache back when I was writing for Asteria 2. The reason for this is that even though I had a glimpse of the essence of what I was fucking my brains out to explain in words, I couldn't quite put my finger on it and so the image that usually forms in my mind on such occasions was fuzzy. 

Luckily, I appealed to Raziel to help me make sense of that fuzzy image and, because he's such a great guy, he came through big time. When all was done I was very pleased with how the article turned out. Little did I know at the time that somewhere in an old work laid the piece of information that would've made me have an instant epiphany had I came across it while struggling with the article. But I'm uncultured so I had no idea of what that book contained haha.

Until recently! Book III of Liber Astronomiae has a small yet very interesting chapter, Chapter IX. Thanks to my reader Nacho who's got the Spanish translation I came across this two paragraph chapter. In itself, it is quite insignificant and merely discusses things any astrology enthusiast can observe by studying the charts. Its title, however, and one of the phrases it contains represent the very essence of my article.

Question on Cielos

One of my readers recently asked me why I haven't included the planetary pentacles (scroll down) from the KoS in Cielos. While it would've been a good means to make the book thicker, information over them is readily available such as in the link I already tagged. Additionally, it should be easy to comprehend by a non-English speaker using free online translation.

What I have done in Cielos was to include a distinct section on talismans. It can be found in section 5.1 on page 131, chapter 5 (Trabajo complementario). The section itself is a little over thee pages long and offers quite a few important details on the subject, besides underlying the importance of making use of proper astro times when making them and giving them life. If one wants them to work to their benefit, that is. The book also provides astro details that are the minimum requirement in terms of elections, but not everyone uses them (especially those who solely seek to earn a quick buck).

Unexpected reader

I was pleasantly surprised to receive an email from someone I had never thought would've been interested in the occult who sent me the attached picture. She said she knew I was into the occult even though I spoke no such thing with her except for telling her I'm interested in "Hermetix" years back. I did share some peculiar prayers to her over time, but she didn't seem to be interested in making use of them so I thought they must've bounced off of her.

But it appears she wants to expand her overall knowledge of the world and she probably considered the occult a good place to start. Given the many books on this subject available out there, the fact she started by buying mine (The Magick of Astrorelationships and Magic Words) means a lot to me and I can't thank her enough. I should punish the person who I imagine let her in on the whole thing though, meaning my alias and all that, haha.

Steadfastness

Our farmer's done it again, only this time he's outdone himself!

I haven't asked him for permission to share his name so I'll simply refer to him as Jordan, especially since there's some dumbass Christians in the area where he lives who are likely to start acting like bitches toward him if they ever found out what he's been doing. Being a Christian myself, I think very low of such people, regardless of their sect...

But anyway, ever since Jordan became my client he and I have been having a very productive conversation in regards to occult related themes. More exactly, we've been discussing occult methods of improving farming, from the quality and quantity of crops to methods of protecting them from hazards. Truth be told this is new territory to me since aside from being very familiar with farm work, I had yet to explore magical workings for such goals. Moreover, we've been talking about other things such as apocryphal texts, Adam Kadmon and so on.

While Jordan's previous success in causing rain for his crops was notable, he told me there's more need for rain since his region is about to enter the most demanding time for crops in terms of water shortage. Turns out he lives in the Ohio valley and, although I went through that region by car during an awful downpour some time in late November, September is the driest month in that part of the US. This would obviously raise the need for irrigation, which in turn increases farmers' expenses.

Evolution!

If you're an occultist then I guess it's safe to say you've come to realize we're spiritual beings experiencing existence in the flesh, as Birch puts it, or at least you will come to realize this at some point. But besides the physical path we are given to explore, with all its many surprises, ups and downs, twists and turns and so on, we've also been given a spiritual path we can choose to either allow ourselves to follow or ignore altogether. Horizontal and vertical, the two directions that make up our existence.

Now, I could start being all erudite about it and start quoting from Pat Zalewski's Golden Dawn book, but I won't do that because I'm not some self-important hypocrite that's posing as an authority figure. Instead, I will point out the fact I'm not the only one that's realized certain things with respect to cosmic laws and cycles. Moreover, the person I'll be referring to is far from being some all-powerful magicianist who's got many many followers, but a practitioner like myself who's constantly putting his increasing knowledge and skills to work for improving his life both horizontally and vertically.

I will start this article with part of local children's poem by George Coșbuc. Unfortunately, I'm not able to translate it properly into English because I'm not inclined to poetry and my vocabulary in both languages is poor, so bare with me:

Educating people

For some time now I've devoted my time more towards educating people find their way through the twisted labyrinth that is the occult, a labyrinth full of traps and things that are too good to be true. This was in detriment to actually spreading free practical knowledge, but I consider it as beneficent as the former. Besides, I get a kick out of making fun of lame bitches, men and women included. 

Therefore, besides providing people with a straightforward method of conjuring spirits, Los cielos se abren seeks to help beginners recognize the malignant elements I've mentioned at the end of Asteria 2. Moreover, I recommend one is to avoid such cesspools and move along on their path. However, if you're like me, at least a bit, then you'll probably want to make fun of those people too, in which case I recommend you get Magic Words and see how magick works and what it's really about from a Western perspective. Once you become aware of these simple but important notions and concepts, it'll be easy for you to see through people's fake facades and easily figure out whether they're full of shit or not whenever they're making outrageous statements.

Even stronger Mercury election

Recently I've posted this Mercury election with Mercury in domicile, triplicity and terms, but with a waning Moon. This election is even better! And here I was saying good Mercury elections are kinda hard to find haha. And because one of my readers who's bought Los cielos se abren is from Bilbao, the election is set for his location.

As usual, besides the talismans mentioned in the tagged articles, you can pretty much go ahead and perform any Mercury operation you want. Again, I wouldn't recommend you waste such an election on mystical work, offerings, praying, or any other more or less magical activities that don't involve changing things in your favor, especially those of a macrocosmic nature. Working on the microcosm doesn't require such astrological precision unless you're working my stuff for overcoming natal retrogrades. And even then you might not have to watch for extremely precise timing, depending on your goals.

Protective hard transits?!

We wrote in Asteria about situations where certain hard transits over a natal chart can protect the native from curses. This happens despite such transits having the potential to increase the chances for the person to be cursed and even the damage done by the curse. 

I recently got an email from someone asking me more about that particular subject, the individual specifically asking me for an example. I knew I should've mentioned at least one in the book and it's my fault again for not having done so, just as it is for pretty much any errors inside. The truth we were in the final stages when we wrote that and by then our focus shifted towards making sure everything fitted well together and eliminate as many loose ends as possible. Nevertheless, I should've been more careful and prevent errors from occurring, as well as adding the necessary examples where required.

I alone have collected more than a few examples over time, prolly since I kept cursing people right and left so often, but I will resume to sharing only one. This example confirmed to me without any doubt that such occurrences are likely to take place and shredded all trace of doubt I had been having based on previous observations. The experience in question took place back when Saturn was transiting direct and at normal cruise speed though Capricorn, thus being very strong.

Yes, the simple ritual layout presented inside the book can be easily adapted to fit the individual needs and magical style of the reader. The Wise One will show up regardless of whether you're using the ritual presented within these pages, something more ceremonial magicky, or something more akin to Pagan Saint's muchly superior over the top (PAGAN!) woowoo. 

Speaking of which, I keep telling good ol' Nick his spuchy journalistic writing style is not being appreciated by everyone and it keeps falling on deaf ears I'm afraid. Alas, I'm trying... Shaman might have no problem with Nick's spuchy ways in Asteria, but that's another topic all together - a spuchy topic.

Lowering the price

I looked over the Chiron manuscript lately and noticed there were several minor typos in there, alongside a couple of fractures in logic which can very well throw any reader off course. This is not Nick's fault but mine, since I rushed him into editing it as Mercury had already gone retrograde by the time he offered his services. I merely glimpsed over his finished version before uploading it on Amazon, so those mistake got unnoticed. Again, feel free to blame me, and I apologize to my readers!

And now since that's been taken care of, I decided to cut the price to it. I will remain as such for a while and will likely suffer another price cut at some point in the future, although I have no idea when that might be.

Yesterday a dear person has shared the above photo of Asteria. Current Mercury retro has worked in her favor, as the package got to her much sooner than expected. This is even more surprising, since the pesky reader lives where no man dares to venture, beyond the land of the fearsome frost giants and the ice-wolfs, so the poor delivery guy must've teleported to her location after having found a magical portal on his path, otherwise I'm sure he would've never made it to the destination and no one would've heard from him ever since. I hope for his sake the magical portal was there for his return, but who cares...

The important thing is that the pesky reader in question has gotten her eville hands on Asteria and can now make use of it to the extreme, as she's planning to perform some pretty rituals on certain people of influence. May you crush them good!

No words can express how honored I feel someone whom I admire greatly has started using The Magick of Chiron on themselves.
