I was thinking of writing something else this weekend before going berserk writing the previous articles. But that made me think of yet another article, one that would help occult customers get a better deal for their money so this is that article. If you happen to be in need of magical service from occult providers who deal with planetary forces then I think this article would be helpful.
Using a quick online search I found that "customer awareness is a concept used by marketing and sales teams. Customer awareness refers to two key concepts:
1. How knowledgeable potential consumers are about your brand, services or products.
2. How conscious customers are of their needs or wants in relation to your company's offerings."
This applies in every commercial field, even more so in the occult, since many people in this field are not that educated with respect to certain particularities surrounding a magical act, let alone the intricate details that would boost or hinder such an act. The people in question should not be blamed for this imo, since it's the so called teachers that should have imparted such details in the first place. Unfortunately, many such teachers are oblivious themselves, while others seek to keep their followers at a minimum supply of knowledge just to maintain the upper hand. And I don't think someone who's eager to earn more and more money from such services will tell a potential customer they cannot perform a certain planetary ritual on that person's behalf for such and such a time due to unfavorable energy flows that planet is experiencing.
Therefore, this article addresses #1 in the above by providing people with easy to understand details surrounding the conditions of planetary forces, thus allowing them to ask the occult provider to perform such and such operations at such and such times. Moreover, it will allow a customer to notice whether the person who's services they are seeking is genuinely looking out for their greater good or is merely up for some quick easy payment to suit his or her financial needs.
That is to say,
someone who's seeking magical help should ask the provider what sort of
ritual he or she will perform based on their immediate needs. If the
provider answers that a planetary ritual will have to be done, then the
customer can observe whether the astrological conditions favor that
planetary ritual or otherwise. This also applies to cases when people
buy all sorts of items that are infused with planetary energies, such as
talismans and pentacles and so on. If the provider is eager to perform
such an operation despite being told by the customer the times are
inauspicious, then the customer is better off seeking someone else. Yet
the provider should be able to tell the customer that in the first
place, this being the ideal scenario. But since we're not living in an
ideal world...
The following information is not something that has been kept under lock and key inside the Vatican vaults for hundreds of years. Moreover, it is not something that requires advanced studies and so on. In Birch's words, "it's not rocket surgery." One would simply have to take some time to perform certain observations and make certain correlations. To do that one would need to observe an astrological chart and for this purpose I chose astro-seek because it offers some additional details yet without making things too complicated, but you're free to use any other such site for this. Don't worry if the word Birth appears there because I set the chart for right now NY time and the site makes it appear as a birth chart.
You would have to familiarize yourself with the glyphs (symbols) of the planets and those of the zodiac signs. There's no need to memorize them even though it would be useful, but you should have a list of them nearby just in case. Fortunately, this site mentions the names of the planets next to their respective glyphs so it makes it easier.
Although this is not of a capital importance, you should know a bit about how to observe the chart. The planets themselves move in a counterclockwise direction around the chart. However, the chart itself rotates in a clockwise direction and practically "dragging" the planets alongside it. Imagine looking to the south and seeing the planets and stars moving from left to right. This takes place due to the Earth's rotation which translates in the chart moving from left to right. But the planets themselves actually move across the sky from right to left so if the Earth would stop rotating you'd be able to see that slow movement. But don't try wrapping your head around this because what follows is more important. While becoming aware of this does help a great deal for more advanced stuff, you should know it simply because it would help you figure out towards which sign a certain planet is heading.
While
all the planets move through all the signs, none of them feels good when
they're moving through some of them. This has to do with the fact each
planet has its signs of strengths and weaknesses and it's natural that a
planet would be more powerful in a sign that elevates its strength and
the other way around when it's in a sign that weakens it. Since most
occultists only work with the seven classical planets, I will resume to
discuss them.
The Sun is strongest in Leo, its sign of domicile and second strongest in Aries, its sign of exaltation. It is at its weakest in Aquarius, its sign of exile and it is weak in Libra, its sign of fall.
The Moon is strongest in Cancer and second strongest in Taurus. It is at is weakest in Capricorn and weak in Scorpio.
Mercury is strongest in Virgo and then in Gemini, being both in domicile and in exaltation in Virgo. It is at its weakest in Pisces, being both in exile and in fall in this sign and it is weak in Sagittarius.
Venus is strongest in Taurus and Libra and second strongest in Pisces. It is at its weakest in Scorpio and Aries and weak in Virgo.
Mars is strongest in Aries and Scorpio and second strongest in Capricorn. It is at its weakest in Taurus and Libra and weak in Cancer.
Jupiter is strongest in Sagittarius and Pisces and second strongest in Cancer. It is at its weakest in Gemini and Virgo and weak in Capricorn.
Saturn is strongest in Capricorn and Aquarius and second strongest in Libra. It is at its weakest in Cancer and Leo and weak in Aries.
By observing the above chart and correlating its placements with this information we notice the following: the Sun is not in a sign where it is either weak or strong, the Moon is not in a sign where it is either weak or strong, Mercury is in a sign in which it is at it very weak, Venus is not in a sign where it is either weak or strong, Mars is in a sign in which it is at its strongest, Jupiter is not in a sign where it is either weak or strong, Saturn is in a sign in which it is at its strongest. So if you were to appeal to someone for magical service and they'd tell you they will do a Mercury operation you can either tell them to wait for Mercury to exit that sign, choose another planet for achieving your goal, or look up another provider.
Alas, there is more to it yet although it makes things more complex, it doesn't necessarily make them more complicated. In lack of interest in such things, you can stick to the above considerations and make use of them whenever you're paying for planetary rituals or items infused with planetary energies. And frankly, knowing the above should do since many out there perform magical services involving planetary forces irrespective of these considerations.
In case you want to go more in depth, you should be aware by now there are twelve zodiac signs in the standard zodiac used in Western astrology. The signs are grouped into four groups of three, each group being called a triplicity. This grouping is based on the elemental nature of the signs. As such we have three Fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius), three Water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces), three Air signs (Libra, Aquarius, Gemini), three Earth signs (Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo). Now, each triplicity has been assigned planetary rulers and you can think of it as certain planets are stronger whenever they happen to move through a sign of the triplicity those planets rule.
There are at least two different attributions for triplicity rulership and I will offer both and you are free to choose between them. Obviously, certain experimentation with respect to their efficiency when applied to magical operations would be in order.
1. By Lilly
Fire is ruled by the Sun by day and Jupiter by night
Water is ruled by Mars by both day and night
Air is ruled by Saturn by day and Mercury by night
Earth is ruled by Venus by day and the Moon by night
2. By Al-Biruni
Fire is ruled by the Sun by day and Jupiter by night with Saturn ruling by both day and night albeit to a lesser degree
Water is ruled by Venus by day and Mars by night with the Moon ruling by both day and night
Air is ruled by Saturn by day and Mercury by night with Jupiter ruling by both day and night
Earth is ruled by Venus by day and the Moon by night with Mars ruling by both day and night
While Lilly's attributions are easier to memorize, Al-Biruni's are more convenient to use in practical applications. The important difference between them is that in Lilly's system the day ruler doesn't receive the oomph provided by the triplicity it rules if it happens to be located in such a sign at nighttime and that goes the other way around for the night ruler. So in the above chart we have the Sun in Sagittarius which based on Lilly's attributions is not strengthened by the fiery sign during nighttime. The same goes for Venus in an earthy sign, the planet not receiving strength from its sign of triplicity at nighttime. Since the above chart was cast for a time prior to sunrise, neither the Sun or Venus would be considered to benefit from additional strength based on being located in a sign of their triplicity. The Moon on the other hand does benefit from its placement in an earthy sign given the nighttime chart, but that benefit ceases after sunrise. We also see Mars benefiting from it and will continue to do so even after sunrise. Saturn does not benefit from it since it's a night chart, while neither Mercury or Jupiter are located in a sign of the triplicity of their rule.
However, based on Al-Biruni the Sun, Venus, the Moon and Saturn would benefit from additional oomph from being placed in their signs of triplicity regardless of the time the chart was cast. Additionally, we see Jupiter also benefiting for some extra oomph given its participating rulership over the Air triplicity. Mercury is still in a sign of a triplicity over which it has no rulership.
Now, it is important to understand that the strength conferred by triplicity is weaker than all others mentioned above. But even so, this can prove extremely helpful in some cases. While we see Mars and Saturn have become even more powerful based on the fact they are both in domicile and in a sign of their triplicity, even though this chart does not show it, a planet like Venus would have its weakness tempered to a degree when transiting through Virgo, since it is still in a sign of its triplicity. It would still be weak, but not as week as if it were without the extra oomph provided by the triplicity.
So if you were to buy certain magically infused products and the provider tells you they were done at a time when the planet used in the operation was in a sign of weakness, you can check to see whether that weakness was at least tempered by possible additional strength provided by the triplicity. It is up to you to go ahead and purchase that product or not in the first place, but you can at least check and see how careless that provider is.
Moving on, things become a bit more complex as each planet except for the Sun and the Moon were assigned various degrees of rulership in each sign, irrespective of whether it is a sign of their strength or weakness. I have no idea when, why and how these rulerships were assigned although I have certain thoughts on that, but I'm no astrologer so I'm simply using what's already available. Suffices to say that each of the five remaining classical planets receives an added boost in power whenever it happens to transit through those degrees it rules in each of the signs, but keep in mind those degrees are not the same in all sign.
The following list consists of the
degrees in each sign ruled by the planets, usually referred to as terms.
It is important to remember that each number depicts the order of that
degree from 1 to 30 and not its value. What this means is that the first
degree of a sign ranges from 0*00'00'' to
0*59'59''(99999999999999999...), the second one ranges from 1*00'00'' to
1*59'59'' and so on. So when you see 1 it means between 0 and 1, when
you see 18 it means between 17 and 18, when you see 29 it means between
28 and 29 and when you see 30 it means between 29 and 30, with
30*00'00'' being 0*00'00'' of the following sign. The following

I am aware that some people who bought early copies of Asteria got their copies with some errors in this section. It is my fault for that and I should have paid more attention to the editing of the tables as well. I apologize and even if I can't undo my error, I hope you'd be able to use the correct info from here.
It is important to know that the strength conferred by terms alone is not greater than that conferred by triplicity alone. By observing these details and correlating them with the chart we see that only Jupiter is in its terms, something which confers it a little extra strength. If we are to correlate it with Al-Biruni's attribution of participating ruler of Air, we'd conclude it has quite the spunk. So in the previous example relating to a Mercury ritual, the provider should be able to discern whether your goals as a client can be achieved with the help of a planetary force other than Mercury and if so, if Jupiter, the Sun or the Moon would be able to achieve that - luck and money, healing, travel among other things. Of course, extended knowledge over the planetary powers would be required.
But wait! There's more. Each of the seven classical planets have certain decans (also known as faces) assigned to them throughout the zodiac. A decan is a section of 10* and each sign has three decans. There are two different attributions of the decans so for simplicity's sake I will only offer the one used by Western astrologers in older times, since modern Western astrology seems to be using the other one. The following list mentions the numbers 1, 2, 3 next to the decans so you should know 1 means the first decan (0*-10* of the sign), 2 means the second decan (10*-20*) and 3 means the third decan (20*-30*).
Saturn 3 Taurus, 1 Leo, 2 Libra, 3 Sagittarius, 1 Pisces
Jupiter 1 Gemini, 2 Leo, 3 Libra, 1 Capricorn, 2 Pisces
Mars 1 Aries, 2 Gemini, 3 Leo, 1 Scorpio, 3 Pisces
Sun 2 Aries, 3 Gemini, 1 Virgo, 2 Scorpio, 3 Capricorn
Venus 3 Aries, 1 Cancer, 2 Virgo, 3 Scorpio, 1 Aquarius
Mercury 1 Taurus, 2 Cancer, 3 Virgo, 1 Sagittarius, 2 Aquarius
Moon 2 Taurus, 3 Cancer, 1 Libra, 2 Sagittarius, 3 Aquarius
It is important to remember that the strength conferred by decan alone is less than that conferred by term alone. By looking at the above chart we see than none of the seven classical planets are located in one of their decans. Nevertheless, this piece of information can prove helpful whenever someone wants to increase a planet's strength if their time and conditions allow for it. For example, looking at the chart we see Jupiter nearing Pisces and thus its domicile. We also see the second decan of Pisces as being the decan of Jupiter so doing a Jupiter ritual with Jupiter in that decan would set into motion energies that are even stronger, not to mention the fact that one can also benefit from the strength conferred by the terms of Jupiter in Pisces for a certain amount of time the planet spends in its decan.
And as in the case of triplicities, the terms and decans allow for a planets weakness to be diminished whenever it happens to be located in a sign that renders it weak, if it happens to be located in such an area. However, the triplicity, terms, or decan alone are weaker than the fall and exile.
There would be
more to say, but I will resume to a few more things rather quickly.
Whenever a planet happens to be located in a place where it does not
fulfill any of the conditions above, either of strength or weakness, it
is considered peregrine and therefore weak. Whenever this occurs
it's best to avoid performing spells and rituals using its energies or,
if possible, have it conjunct Jupiter, Venus or a beneficial fixed star.
Otherwise, it would be best to wait for it to enter its terms or decan
and so on.
First off, there is an area of 17* (or was it 17*30'?!) on either side of the Sun in which any planet located there is said to be under sunbeams. This weakens the planet so if someone happens to perform a magical working for you using the energies of a planet in such condition, it's best they'd have that planet in a strong position and the Sun in a much weaker position than the planet in question in order to diminish the amount of weakness. Second of all, this area spans up to 8*30' on either side of the Sun and any planet located closer to the Sun within that length of arc is said to be combust. When a planet is combust it is said to burn and so it manifests its unpleasant sides. By looking at the chart we see Mercury is combust and alongside its placement in a sign of weakness, makes it highly inappropriate for beneficial work. This is why I just had to write this article yesterday and that lead to the whole series. Third of all, there is an area of just 17' (17 minutes of arc) on either side of the Sun in which a planet is said to be cazimi. Whenever this takes place the Sun acts by boosting the planet's energies, but one must be careful to perform the ritual while the planet is within that range.
There is also the case with the lunar North and South Node. Although they are mere imaginary points in space and not actual physical bodies, there is a constant flow of energy between them. The North Node is said to be more benefic, being considered of the nature of Jupiter and Venus while the South Node is said to be more malefic, being considered of the nature of Saturn and Mars. So it would be best to avoid doing rituals whenever a planet happens to be conjunct the South Node, which is exactly what happened with the provider I referred to in said article...
I
would go on talking about aspects and how it would be best to avoid the
planet of choice being involved in hard aspects, such as opposition and
square - see red line between Moon and the planets in Sagittarius. But I
think what I've written so far will suffice and I imagine if you were
to appeal to a random provider and start asking them about such things
they'd go mad hehe.
And don't forget to check on the Moon, its placement and any aspect it might be involved in regardless of the planet you're working with. This is important since the Moon is reflecting all celestial energies unto us so it's best to have it in a condition which would allow it to do that with ease and without tension.
So there you have it. I tried writing it
down so that the likes of me would understand and apply with relative
ease so I guess anyone who reads it would have it easier for them to
understand compared to me having to understand it if I read it the first
time. If you've gotten the hang of this information you can try out
Scott's chart victor calculation based on it, something that has multiple effects with respect to both magical election times and natal astrology.
Hate on, dum-dums!

Wow this is something like for begginers to read "Astrology Wheater"!
ReplyDeleteDo you enjoy when you do a complex rite?
Sometimes when I do a complex rite, initiation I really enjoy the ritual more then expectation for result ,like doing the rite because rite?
For some reason people have to highlight the text in the comments on this article and I can't find a way to change that...
ReplyDeleteAnswering your first question, I've written it to educate both beginners into learning at least basic astrological knowledge and occult clients for the same reason. This is because I've witnessed quite a few cases so far when people reported things went worse for them after a beneficial ritual was performed on them by some occultist, for money. I know this to be the case because bad things started happening to them exactly in the area of life targeted by the rituals in case - finance, love, etc. In a couple of cases I was made aware of the dates in which those rituals were performed and the planets whose forces were called upon in those rituals were in awful condition in each case.
For your second question, I know what you mean. I've also experienced the saying "it's about the journey, not the destination" quite a few times while doing rituals.
So about money ,if you don t put a limitation on you spell it can bring something undesirable way like Scott explained on his blog?
ReplyDeleteNot necessarily because astrological conditions it s because charge is just "Bring me A"so Entities just bring you A dont caring in what way ?
Yes and that applies to basically everything you ask, in some form or another. There is the case of a known occultist who made it public on their blog that they asked a spirit to bring them X amount "at any cost" and the spirit caused a house fire in the man's home. He then collected the insurance money. Scott explained it very well and it should be the sort of thing that should be thought to beginners as soon as possible in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteWondering what factors besides astrology can incerase likehood off magickal operation?
ReplyDeleteWhat would charge"Bring me A with limitations without harm off health and property my and family but for anything besides"" for entity ?
There's several other factors of a more or less degree of complexity, the likes I cannot talk about in a simple comment. Formulating the intent is part of them. In fact, I wrote about such factors in more detail here https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.lulu.com%2Fen%2Fgb%2Fshop%2Fi-alejandro-virgilio%2Fmagical-words%2Fpaperback%2Fproduct-w6ykyv.html%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR0zUWC7eXvos3RQEQQ-l3BbCvfcY7B5N8Z624kg4R3DX1zavZZUVR9WlRc%26page%3D1%26pageSize%3D4&h=AT3j1KP2EVPoiGctA32NxJrpLL6uFuZmwyRb_GaXCTktl9u5QMCkZIA0fOTJ7pqfbTsLG1nJ6H73nNBhMES_PVfHG6W2MMHG9eyAn3VG7N0vviKBoW-BdLc702pRU3kedcjvMzpoMn2V&__tn__=-UK-R&c[0]=AT2RWsHYzn0WBkut310lvm7e9BUdTLMSnrHDGSqAJNUeS0jbLRT5gDjpzDjl5KHwrpJWcLseKhwhCdx_HraKz-HhT7VQkghIX6q9-R7Q5O-IvZUL-hXAZY9OJs_7JUm6O0CG1cM0Yp16umzMv4UV_Nn-8sv4UooJf41Rtw

:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
If your intention was to list a table of Ptolemy's Terms according to Lilly, as seen here, https://www.astro.com/astrowiki/en/Terms, then I think there are just two errors in Table 2.44: Rulers of the Terms, which is page 83 in my (first) edition.
Cancer - 30° Saturn (5th term)
Pisces - 8° Venus (1st term)
These are both corrections to the Planet.
It is possible there are 2 other errors. I "corrected" the table in my book by writing OVER the number in pen, like a moron, then realized my "correction" was incorrect. So now I have the correct number written to the left of the original number, and that number may well be the same number I overwrote in pen with a wrong number. These are:
Gemini - 21° Venus (3rd term)
Sagittarius - 19° Mercury (3rd term)
I believe you actually have these right in the table but as I said, I wrote over it in pen with a wrong number from a wrong source so I can't read the original number anymore.
Haha yea that is funny although it's quite true. By not being an astrologer I mean I haven't taken any specialized classes for it or received any kind of superior training. I can barely predict future events beyond saying something good or otherwise is about to happen based on certain transits, I don't do horary and so on. Basically I'm not some erudit scholar but just some guy who looked things up on he own wherever he could and put 2 and 2 together gradually because I got tired of receiving wrong "higher knowledge" from apparent authorized sources. The bottom line is I'm an imbecile when it comes to learning new stuff and it's always very hard for me to actually make sense of it so if I was able to do it by myself then I'm 1000% sure others would do it too with relative ease.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately there's many wrong tables out there and in the heat of the moment I must've double checked the terms with one of those wrong ones during editing instead of going back to the original source. I only noticed it some time after publishing.
Sorry the comments show up in black font in this article. I cannot seem to make them appear differently :/
