Self reflection: softcore & hardcore

Note: this is the first article I've written in which I enabled a blog feature that automatically inserts search links into the text, other than the ones I add myself, so I have no idea if it will be more or less helpful for readers. 

I came across people saying professional psychological help should go hand in hand with magical training. It has the benefit of allowing the magician to better identify internal blockages and overcome them easier. I for one don't doubt that. Instead, I doubt the ability of many psychologists out there who, to me, do nothing more than parrot paragraphs from Freud. I also think they are unable, more like inept at adapting their knowledge and expertise on a case by case basis and instead try to force each case to fit the theoretical models they've memorized.

Therefore, I've always found such help more of a hindrance. I also dislike psychology as a whole for reasons having to do with my background in researching conspiracies and from having observed its impact on society in a case by case observation over the years. I do not adhere to the magical psychological model although I recognize the microcosmic role and influence within the magical act itself. Furthermore, I've never followed a predetermined magical curriculum, derived from structured magical orders, where inner work also has psychological components. Instead, I've carved my own path into the unknown.

When it comes to psychology, I found that I was more drawn to the Jungian teachings solely because they best suited my needs and I felt comfortable using that framework. Even so, I don't reduce otherworldly entities to archetypes from my unconscious or something. At best, I'd say those inner archetypes are complementary to those entities existing outside of one's personal sphere, something akin to being their reflections. "As above, so below" and all that.

I've had it!

This was the last time I applied for monetizing this blog. As before, I received an automatic response I do not qualify for ads. I need to make certain adjustments to fall in line with their community standards and rules and regulations that are too long for me to read and in the end provide no concrete answers. I suspect my foul language in some articles may be to blame. Well, too bad, I'm not bending to your rules so fuck off! 

Over time I kept seeing both blog and vlog owners asking for donations even though they were monetized. In some cases this happened right at the beginning of their articles or videos, in others they keep repeating it throughout.

I'm not the type to beg for donations. I don't show any link to an account on donation related sites because I have no such account. It's not my goal to make a living from monetizing my blog. I will post people's ads for $10 a piece if and when asked, but otherwise I don't care about it especially since I hate the whole monetizing process. If anyone wants to donate anything to me they can do so by purchasing something found to the left of the page. This way they will get to benefit from that donation as well.

I just noticed this blog has 1 follower! It must've happened very recently too! You may be wondering why I'm making such a big deal out of it, but for me it really is a big deal. It means I must be doing something right in order for someone to decide to actually follow my articles instead of simply popping in every now and then.

Book review: Mastering the Thirty Aires

This is the first Enochian label for this blog since I stopped doing that kind of work a few years back due to mundane reasons. But it's safe to say I'll start posting more on this topic once I begin working this system once more.

Mastering the Thirty Aires is Scott's final book of his Enochian trilogy, thus covering the whole system. Additionally, the man has covered Dee and Kelley's work to greath length, both for free on his blog and in the form of published books. I for one think he's done more than enough by covering the subject and speaking about it publically, as no other occultist I've encountered has so far had the decency of providing free ritual templates, let alone answering every question his readers ask him.

I am very grateful for his help, assistance and guidance. When it comes to Enochian, I want to point out I've began working with the Heptarchy solely by using his blog as a source and he's been more than willing to help me along even by answering all my retarded questions. Other authors, especially those who consider themselves experts on this subject as well, would point people to their books as a simple, piss off answer. But not Scott!

Money for nothing and your shills for free

Some time ago I wrote this article in which I spoke of various occultists (more or less) who make up all sorts of shit to practically beg for money from others involved in the occult community (more or less).

It recently came to my attention this trend has snowballed and people who are (or used to be) considered superstars in this field (often by people with questionable knowledge and experience) have also adhered to it. It's been brought to my attention that during this past holiday season no more than four such (doubtful) characters have started what appear to be promotional campaigns for occult services in the new year.

Who are you?

As of a few months ago someone from Singapore has been visiting my blog. Not only have they looked through the articles, but they've made more views than anyone else combined.

I know Dr. Stephen Skinner lives in Singapore although I doubt he'd be wasting his time reading my blog. Otherwise, I know no one else there. 

Therefore, who are you? Post a quick comment so I'd know you're a real person and not some bot. If you don't mind, that is.

Trends and groupies

For a few years now I've been observing a trend emerging in certain occult social media environments. I quickly managed to trace it to certain "experts" who wanted to come across as powerful wizards, but who used this gimmick of starting trends to sell their books. 

 

The trend itself quickly spread among the intelligently blind, people who receive every such piece of information coming from alleged authority figures with great awe. They not only stuff their empty heads with it, but they also promote it to others as if it were gospel.

It consists of overusing the term "supercelestial" in conjunction with either "angel" or "archangel" to imply beings that must be beyond godhood or something, which no one can work with. Except for the "expert" who wrote the book, of course, who detailed all about the methods he used and his experience in there.

Thieves screaming thief

The title is a saying from my country which applies to those people who knowingly and willingly divert attention from themselves whenever they're doing shady stuff and pointing the finger to others, accusing them of doing the exact same thing they're doing. In doing so, they're buying time to cover their tracks and maybe even lay low for a while till the storm passes, a storm they had brewed against someone else.

To get to the point, I posted my review of Señor Shaman's healing book on the stupid social media I hate so much. The first comment it got was from a lady asking me how much money I received as a gift from the author to promote his product. If the comment stopped there it would've raised credible concern in regards to the validity of my article since I posted it somewhere many people who are used to occult scams frequently go to, therefore people's paranoia levels with respect to such shady activity is high there. But no, the lady went on to say the only genuine person who does genuine shit of such and such kind is one "Señora Antonia", who's done a great deal of good for her, and even added what I imagine to be that woman's personal phone number. I imagine she hoped people would see it and immediately call that woman to book her services.

MILESTONE

This is going to be the last post of its kind because it's getting pretty silly for me to celebrate getting an all-time record number of viewers that others get in one month. Or even less than what others get in one month. But again, I didn't expect this blog would go this far back when I started it.

All I can do is to thank you all who've looked it up and to keep posting stuff you'll find interesting and most importantly, stuff that'll help you improve your techniques and get better results. The planetary talisman experiment series (the Moon article is linked and you'll find the links to all others in there) is still workable for the most part in terms of the elections I've proposed, but you can make those talismans later on at times when the planets are strong. You can also use the elections for other kinds of planetary rituals.

Milestone achieved & ANNOUNCEMENT

I finally reached 1000 views per month!!! It's not like it's a big deal, quite the opposite when you consider people like Scott and Nick get tens of thousands of views each month, but it is for me because I never thought I'd go so far with this blog. As I mentioned a few times in the past, it started out mostly as a joke and I paid little attention to how I wrote the articles and so on. But it seems people have started showing more interest and so I guess I must've written something interesting along the way. This seems even more apparent since five months ago I managed to get over 500 views a month for the first time. And now I'm so close to reaching 10k overall. 

Too bad Google won't allow ads to run on it because apparently they disagree with running ads on a blog that already advertises things. Funny how they allow ads to run on YT channels of people who constantly promote merchandise though... I'm not saying this because of the money, given I had no idea this blog would improve so much over time and likely because I wouldn't earn much from their ads in the first place, but it's a thing of principle.

Latest comments

I finally managed to find the time to look up how to improve the blog interface by adding a gadget that shows the latest comments. You can find it to the bottom right of each page.

The first thing that made me love Scott's blog was that it was one of the very few blogs out there that showed the latest comments, aside from many other cool and helpful features. Needless to say, I tried to copy as much of the layout from him although I kept forgetting to add this feature.

Hopefully it will make visitors' future interactions easier.

Milestone achieved

Today is the end of the first month in which this blog has hit more than 500 views. This is not much, especially since other blogs get 500 views in a day or in a few hours, but it's a huge milestone for me :D Even more so, this is the first month in which this blog has been viewed every single day at least once. 

The numbers on this blog are not high at all, but that doesn't matter to me. I am glad this blog that started out mostly as a joke is picking up speed and more people are benefiting from whatever it is I have to share. So, thank you for visiting!

Marketing, they say...

A few days ago I received an email from a cousin of mine containing many words I didn't read before I sent out a short reply. Among those many words there were some that made it seem like he was instructing me on to start internet advertising for "the internet thing" I'm doing, something he knows very little of, for the better. He went on to tell me how I should start doing live videos to promote my stuff, networking, lots of social media and YouTube stuff, and so on... 

That is not my style. During the editing of Asteria, El Maximo Exponente de la Magia (as of recently) told me I'm trying to sell myself to the world in a certain context, to which I replied that is correct. However, I am doing it my way. That is to say, I will do so one-on-one with the possible customer whenever they e-mail me for magical services. They get the good, the bad, and the ugly directly in their inbox and they are left with the choice to either go ahead with it or move on. Besides that, they can look up this blog as I try to update it on a regular basis.

Free scrying exercise

Several people including Shaman have written to me complaining with respect of the tremendous impact this blog has on their eyes. While I understand their complaints, I cannot change the appearance of the blog because I have intended to make it as such. 

You see, the background and fonts have been carefully chosen as to have the reader experience a free flashing colors exercise. This is helpful for a bunch of occult things, including astral vision and scrying. Shaman told me his astral vision works just fine so he doesn't need any exercise - he is free to read my blog in his 20-20 astral vision in that case :)

When I first started this blog I didn't think it'll have too many viewers. As a consequence, I didn't take it too seriously for a while. But views started to add up one after another and now they've gone past 3000.

Behind the iron courtain

I've hated facebook even before I made someone else's profile my own. I kept hating it more and more to this day.

Suckerberg's site just blocked any sharing of this blog because it apparently stands against their community standards. Make that communist standards, because being on facebook seems more like living behind the iron courtain. I would have to make a special page on which to promote my stuff. I'm not going to do that because it's against my nature to start begging people for anything, let alone stupid likes!

So up your mothers' asses, Suckerberg and your gang of retarded wankers! May you slowly boil in cauldrons full of piss while seeing your children's insides being eaten by worms starting from their sphincters,  while they're still alive!!! And if someone's responsible for reporting this to facebook, may they and their whole family suffer an ever worse fate, to the seventh generation! So mote it be!
