Ho ho ho!

Una ragazza molto speciale, who should have her own blog but doesn't (uffa!), joins me as we close off the year with this article discussing the importance of house differences, especially in magical affairs. It aims to help people gain a better understanding of why magical work involving celestial forces is either endorsed or hindered depending on where the force of choice is located in the chart at the moment of ritual. 

For the sake of simplicity only planets are mentioned, but the same principles apply to stars and constellations, zodiac signs, even lunar mansions.

Mercury retro article

My latest article on the now well known magical training blog Mr Nixter uses to share hidden Golden Dawn knowledge to us mortals, alike to the mythical Prometheus, addresses what I suspect to be an attempt by some at becoming remembered by posterity for having come up with a Mercury retro theory in practical occult matters.

As before, this article too benefited from the ever so delicate and ingenious touch of una ragazza molto speciale, that one lady angelic hoast shining brighter than ten of Constantine's visions at the Milvian Brigde combined, in the editing department. XOXO!

Another astrology article

Mr Farrell's occult training blog contains another article written by yours truly. It deals with signs and houses, making a comparison between the two and pointing out similarities, but most of all, differences. It's something I've been guilty of for a while after I began studying astrology. You will also find it to the left of the page.

On another, somewhat related note, some sissy group from northern Italy calling themselves Fart Smelling Society or some other fucked up name have accused Mr Nixter of using AI to generate so many articles in such a short time. This implies my own articles are AI.

Paying 1500 euros for a wack tarot class speaks for itself when you can learn a great deal more for free from the lamest youtube vids on the topic. 

Void of Course article

Mr Farrell recently started a magical training blog to offer people practical information regarding Golden Dawn and Greco-Egyptian systems, as well as other important occult related topics. One of these topics is astrology, something he and una ragazza molto speciale have covered in this article.

I was asked to contribute with an article of my own, covering Void of Course. I've done so and it got published last week. It was beautifully edited by una ragazza molto speciale who deserves my full gratitude, and then some, for having allowed my trademark writing style to shine. It covers what the event is, its duration and implications in magical work, with added examples from horary astrology showing how it affects developments. The explanations contain certain details I've yet to discuss on the subject, either in my books, on blog posts or elsewhere. I think that by reading them one may consider the notion of broken dreams more in depth, especially since the Moon covers daydreaming as much as it covers nightly dreams.

All in all, it should be an insightful reading for beginners and more experienced alike, especially since I could come up with at least one example of a knowledgeable person selling astrological talismans made during VoC.

Eclipse effects

On April 8 this year there was a total solar eclipse over North America. I remember telling Señor Shaman and Mr. Farrell at the time I foresee a tremendous change for the US for the long run. That change seems to have manifested with last month's elections, but I'm sure it had been brewing ever since the ominous event.

A solar eclipse is said to cause the death of kings, or at least their fall from power. In our day and age this would translate to people in power, such as presidents or prime ministers depending on the constitution. Suddenly, some time after the eclipse the president in office announced he would not run for the upcoming elections and instead his VP would run instead.

Churchy antics

I won't make a separate label for rants, let alone for specific rant subjects. Take this rant as it is because it may be informative to some.

Today is Palm Sunday based on the Orthodox calendar, meaning next Sunday is Easter. People around here seem cool with that. Many are contempt or even rejoice because they can hang out and have fun at bbqs with friends and family and whatnot.

None are aware why this particular timing is wrong based on a calendar constructed based on human dogma alone. Most are oblivious to anything anymore, anyway, besides their immediate needs, so who cares?

But anyway, the Orthodox Church has decreed who knows how long ago, because I won't bother researching, that Easter is to be celebrated on the first Sunday after the so called New Moon in Aries. This may mean nothing to laymen, but this has both an astronomical and an astrological cause behind it, at least in my view. But I think my view was proven correct upon my back and forth with an Orthodox priest on the subject a few years back.

Mars conjunct Saturn in Pisces

Recently I've been getting inquiries from people regarding Mars conjunct Saturn in Pisces. The exact conjunction will occur within a few days, on April 10 or 11 more exactly, depending on timezone. 

As we discussed in Asteria, the energy buildup will begin just as the two planets are in orb, meaning some days prior to their exact conjunction. They will reach their peak during the exact conjunction and the separating aspect will see the development of events that had been shapen by the energy buildup.

Prediction

A partial solar eclipse will occur on the 25th, next week, in the second degree of Scorpio. It will be followed by a total lunar eclipse in Taurus (the sixteenth degree, I think) some two weeks later. Both eclipses will be visible in a part of the world where a leader has overstayed his time in office and I will detail on this forther on. 

I predict these two eclipses will cause said leader to lose his power within six month to an year. I'm saying this because the solar eclipse will occur in his twelfth house, which will likely stir up plots from hidden enemies, while the lunar eclipse will occur in his seventh house. Given his bellicose nature, I think that eclipse will put a stop to his fighting ways while at the same time conceal his open enemies from acting against him.

Manifest your destiny (and then some)

A few years ago I was busy writing a book on destiny and how one could ease themselves towards it using occult means. I wrote more than half of it before I started postponing writing on it more and more. I ended up shelving it for good and now that I stopped writing for good that's all gone. I still have the text though.

But I added some key ideas from it in my article "When 'the above' says 'no': Reasons spells go bust" in Asteria Unveiled. The method is also greatly alluded to in the article "A Bacchic tale: Uncorking planetary spirits" in the same book, but anyone interested in going down that road would need more insight and research. Hints can also be found in the article on eclipses as well as in Asteria. A more in-depth study of the astrological houses inside one's natal chart would be a good idea, but one must also not overlook the zodiac signs too.

Lunar petitions for beginners

In light of the Full Moon in domicile today, Monday (night, depending on where you live), I think this article is very appropriate. I posted a very short version of the text on a couple of fb groups for beginners a few years ago and for the most part it went unnoticed. I posted it because I thought beginners would benefit from it, but I guess people in those groups were more interested in memes and ads, including the noobs.

Aside from the fact I think any occult group that allows memes is pretty much a dead end for any noob, I will expand more on the original text to elaborate on the method. Keep in mind this method is aimed at noobs so don't expect me to go into advanced techniques.

Godhead assumption through the Middle Pillar

I wrote the following article three years ago and it was published online by Spiral Nature Magazine. Their website has stopped working for some time and, since they published nothing for more than a couple of years, I'm thinking they must've closed up shop. Because of this, anything posted there is in danger of being lost, sadly. Not just my stuff would be lost as a result, but many other articles that have helped me over time. Unfortunately, I cannot salvage anything that was not written by me...

Empowered Tree of Life Exercise

I have recently started doing this exercise I have been lead towards by the beyond. After a few repetitions I find it do be quite potent, more potent than the usual Middle Pillar exercise and with longer lasting effects even. 

I see no reason for it to be performed during regular rituals in which spirit conjuration is involved, for the regular Middle Pillar should suffice. I for one use my own version of that during such rituals. It would fit for a stand alone magical practice session for anyone willing to add a solid Qabalistic working to their usual daily rites.

Article on eclipses

I've recently been invited by Andres (see the links to his fb page and blog de la magia to the right of the page) to co-author an article that covers the topic of eclipses. It does so from a mythological and magical, but also from an astrological and astronomical perspective.
