Occult clientèle

In my article "Getting down and dirty: Astrology and love spells" from Asteria 2, I talk about people who seek occult services to fulfill their romantic desires. In that article I briefly address cases where such people end up being threatened by the alleged occultist, often times the latter demanding more money "or else"! Of course, that "or else" means curses and the clients in these cases often freak out and comply. I've heard of more than a few cases in my country of people who experienced such a thing at the hands of allegedly gifted, highly skilled and talented, super powerful (you get the idea) occultists. Some cases also made headlines because public figures apparently experienced similar scenarios. And I've also heard of it happening throughout the world once I got involved in the occult.

While I see nothing wrong with people seeking such services for whatever purpose, the fact of the matter is their idea of the occult is often crafted based on misconceptions induced by the entertainment industry, what they've been told by their parents, grandparents or others, as well as a primal fear of the unknown - the twelfth house covers both curses and the unknown and I wrote an article on that too in Asteria 2. It is therefore understandable when people easily become frightened by such threats and comply to the demands of the alleged occultist. But that's not all. People's expectations in regards to magical success are often twisted, most likely because of the same aforementioned causes.

Solar exercise

The Sun is currently exalted in Aries as many occultists out there should know and it's not as such because precession (or procession, to quote some wannabe bigshot dork). It is also in its triplicity and thus it is even more powerful. Within a few days it will enter its decan and it's power will grow a bit more.

Therefore, I propose the following exercise in which the person actively works with the energies of the Sun (because contrary to what some fuckheads say, celestial energies do affect life on Earth and I'm not solely referring to solar radiation). The exercise is quite simple, can basically be done at any time and requires no tootls or fetishes or whatever, but one can make use of whatever paraphernalia they fancy. It should obviously be performed when it's sunny outside and if a cloud happens to block out sunlight after you've started you can do #4 until it passes or end the whole thing depending on circumstances.

Chiron en Español

The guys over at Boticario Magico have translated my Chiron book for all you Spanish speaking occultists out there. They also did a marvelous job with the new cover, since yours truly is is debilitated when it comes to image editing (among many other things). Nevertheless, if it's one thing I'm apparently good at, it's bringing improvement to the occult (unlike certain self proclaimed whatnots out there who are arduously seeking to keep it stagnant) and I've been doing that in more than one way so far. The Chiron book is just one small sample of that, but its implications are huge considering its possible applications (which them whatnots have no idea due to their extremely narrow-minded beliefs).

Easy access to it from now on using the link to the left of the page. And you can find other books they've translated into Español here.

Hate on, dum-dums!

Day and hour, you say?!

You can easily judge the level of ignorance in the occult by observing people's level of reluctance to accept, and later to adopt even to a degree, new information that is likely to improve their results. Most of the time this happens because many of them are too busy swallowing the teachings of know-it-alls by the bucketful. More importantly, those know-it-alls are the ones who are actually reluctant in regards to new information, but in their case it's because any new information that doesn't come from them puts them in a bad light in the eyes of their followers and that is something that can affect them financially later on.

And, of course, many know-it-alls teach people to perform planetary rituals in the day and hour of the planet of choice because such and such old grimoires say that. On top of that, they teach people that because that's how they do it. While there's little wrong here aside from an ever so visible spark of the Vice of Tiphareth, the know-it-alls in question are responsible for depriving others from knowledge that, if put to good use, can make the difference between a so-so result and the complete manifestation of one's initial desire - the one you construct your intent for, but the same know-it-alls teach intent is not important.

To Whom It May Concern

Notice I used caps for all words in the title because I did a little research on this form of addressing ;)

But enough with the posh tone since I'm writing this article to talk about my Magic Words a bit more. The book mostly addresses beginners in the occult since it is aimed at them and being short, it fits well with a beginner mindset since it doesn't come across as a scary tome. The posh tone is used as a snark since, as I'm about to detail in a bit, it's like a middle finger given to someone who's been enjoying being snarky towards people in the occult universe even if many of them didn't deserve it. And even if many of them know more magix than this particular individual when it comes to actual practical stuff.

I shall refrain from naming the sad character, but only because I'd be doing them a favor in regards to promoting them for free. Truth be told, when I first wrote Magic Words it featured their name in a way it resembled a pinata which I enjoyed smacking every now and then throughout the text. If fact, the book was written as my response to several years of witnessing stupid teachings promoted by the person in question and their fans, teachings that apparently are part of the canon of the tradition they're so arduously claiming to be following.

Manifest your destiny (and then some)

A few years ago I was busy writing a book on destiny and how one could ease themselves towards it using occult means. I wrote more than half of it before I started postponing writing on it more and more. I ended up shelving it for good and now that I stopped writing for good that's all gone. I still have the text though.

But I added some key ideas from it in my article "When 'the above' says 'no': Reasons spells go bust" in Asteria Unveiled. The method is also greatly alluded to in the article "A Bacchic tale: Uncorking planetary spirits" in the same book, but anyone interested in going down that road would need more insight and research. Hints can also be found in the article on eclipses as well as in Asteria. A more in-depth study of the astrological houses inside one's natal chart would be a good idea, but one must also not overlook the zodiac signs too.

Compatibility case study

In my article "Getting down and dirty: Astrology and love spells" from Asteria Unveiled, I first addressed the need for one to study the natal charts of the person they're interested in as well as their own. Or the chart of the client and that of the target, in case of all you money grabbing magicianists out there who want to score a quick buck by doing love spells for people on specific targets.

There is a reason I addressed that in the beginning and you can find more about it by reading that article. The article itself also contains a case study that can come across as livid for many, but it needed to make its way into the book to show more ugly sides of relationships since the aspect in particular is mostly discussed as being generally good for sex. I'm talking about modern astrology forums and such, not by occultists, because the latter are either too busy building a know-it-all facade, chastizing people, making fools of themselves without knowing it, all of the aforementioned and much more, and so on and so forth.

This article offers a case study so that anyone who's read and will read that article from the book will have a practical 101 on this stuff in regards to their initial goal. It would've made the perfect example for the article in the book but alas, I only came in possession of this information right after the book was published.

On curses

Asteria 2 contains an article of mine on the twelfth house. In that article I also discuss curses in more detail since they're an area covered by this house, but the nature and the spirit of the house are also detailed. In short, I mentioned the twelfth house facilitates a person to be cursed and at the same time it is part of an individual's personal shielding against curses whenever the native is in need of spiritual protection.

The eleventh house is considered that of the Higher Self and so it would usually be thought as the house that protects from curses, but in that article I already said it should be studied in parallel with the twelfth just as I said of the twelfth in the book. As a brief recap, the Higher Self cannot be represented by the chart for it transcends it, let alone by a sole astrological house. Therefore, the eleventh house merely covers beneficial influences a person receives from their Higher Self while the twelfth covers the malefic ones - I explained in the article while those are necessary and other hints can be found it at least one other article I wrote in this book. Hence the need for both of them to be studied in parallel.

But what about curses? For a person to suffer from the effects of a magical curse both their eleventh and twelfth houses must allow for that curse to affect its target. They can do that to more or less degree depending on circumstances that are too vast to discuss without endless digressions. I laid out general considerations for this in the article. It can go as far as in a case I've been observing for some time now and I will detail further.

ASTERIA 2

Asteria Unveiled: Celestial mysteries revealed

Has finally published by Lord Manticore. FINALLY!!!

This is the followup volume to Asteria, a work that branches out from its predecessor and expands on various applications of astrology in magick. Even though some concepts presented inside come with short explanations, the material requires people to be readily aware of it since it was explained in detail in Asteria. So if you are not familiar with those concepts you could read Asteria first or look up whatever information you require using various other sources when you come across it in the second book.

Asteria Unveiled addresses both older concepts which it masterfully discusses in new ways, and newer ones which it thoroughly details, offering more than enough information for people to enrich their magical practices. There were cases where it was necessary to skip over most of the explanations and not because we're jerks or anything, but because they would require entire volumes and, truth be told, it would make a pretty much boring read anyway. As a result, we injected the text with highly concentrated small doses of explanations just so readers would understand the concepts presented. So although this book has less number of pages than Asteria, the highly concentrated doses of knowledge it contains would keep people busy for a long time.
