Geomantic figures colors

The following details come from John Heydon's Theomagica: A Temple of Wisdom, Mr Farrell recently edited and published. I find them interesting to experiment with in magical workings involving geomantic figures, especially talismans, as well as in mystical ones, i.e. pathworking into their realm.

Puer: white mixed with red; Amissio and Caput Draconis: white mixed with citrine; Albus: lovely white mixed with red; Populus and Via: green, or russet black; Fortuna Major: green, yellow or gold; Conjunctio: purple or grayish white, sometimes black speckled with blue, green, white, or a dark crimson or whitish tawny; Rubeus: red mixed with brown; Aquisitio: red, yellow, or green and sanguine; Carcer: white, russet, or dun color; Tristitia: tawny, sky-colored with blue; Laetitia: a green, whitish, glistening color.

Puella, Fortuna Minor and Cauda Draconis remain unaddressed by the original author for some reaon. Even so, many of the color correspondences seem completely odd, such as in the case of Carcer or Tristitia, given their nature and planetary attribution. I have no idea where Heydon got them or even if he paid any attention to them. Mr Nixter adds his own remarks to this:

Life ruining curse effects example

What follows is the case of someone who was struck with one of my life ruining curses. Like all curses this course covers, it has hit the target and will continue to do so until he passes away. There may be times the will appear to have moved past the effects of the curse, but further hits at various time intervals will continue to pile up on the initial damage.

The curse hit the target some seventeen months ago just as the person hooked up with someone. The curse quickly escalated their relationship to the point they they conceived a child. They also moved in together somewhere with an expensive rent and he burned the bridges with his family, who had been supporting him financially and allowing him to stay in with them well past his teens.

Pluto pathworking

In Cielos I spoke about working with the outer planets and presented means of doing so, including a couple of spirit names. I also said that unlike Uranus and Neptune, I had yet to work with Pluto by the time I was writing the book. But that has changed as of last month.

Shortly before the New Year I did a ritual to call on the planet's angel. For the past year I had been receiving signs in the form of news of the planet showing up in non-related online seaarches and memories of me thinking of working with Pluto years back suddenly popping into my awareness. I dismissed them at the time when instead instead I should've recognized them as such.

It arrived and I greeted it and presented it with a tea light as a welcoming gift. I got a name and even though it checks out as being that of an actual angel according to A Dictionary of Angels, I will refrain from making it public for a while until I experiment more.

Mars strikes again

The woman I've made a Mars protection talisman for earlier last year contacted me last October telling me she's receiving threats from a 63 year old weirdo. The man went as far as to issue death threats towards her. He didn't assault her or anything, but more than often he would scare her with all sorts of verbal cruelty.

I told her not to worry since the talisman had worked superbly thus far. I recommended she light a tea light above the talisman every so often if she becomes too worried about any possible threat and ask for protection since that would add and extra kick to its forces. I mention this in my talisman class as well since I found it a good way of getting something extra out of these things, even for a short while.

Ohnevel

Ohnevel is one of the angels of the Shemhamphorash and is said to "protect against accidents, maintain health and heal, dominate trade and businessmen, influence business". According to some sources he is attributed to the half-decan 10°-15° Taurus.

I've worked with him in the past for business related stuff, with little to no success. Recently something came up and, since the chart was awful for other forces I would've worked with in such a case, I decided to work with him instead. This time I called on him for healing.

On curses

Asteria 2 contains an article of mine on the twelfth house. In that article I also discuss curses in more detail since they're an area covered by this house, but the nature and the spirit of the house are also detailed. In short, I mentioned the twelfth house facilitates a person to be cursed and at the same time it is part of an individual's personal shielding against curses whenever the native is in need of spiritual protection.

The eleventh house is considered that of the Higher Self and so it would usually be thought as the house that protects from curses, but in that article I already said it should be studied in parallel with the twelfth just as I said of the twelfth in the book. As a brief recap, the Higher Self cannot be represented by the chart for it transcends it, let alone by a sole astrological house. Therefore, the eleventh house merely covers beneficial influences a person receives from their Higher Self while the twelfth covers the malefic ones - I explained in the article while those are necessary and other hints can be found it at least one other article I wrote in this book. Hence the need for both of them to be studied in parallel.

But what about curses? For a person to suffer from the effects of a magical curse both their eleventh and twelfth houses must allow for that curse to affect its target. They can do that to more or less degree depending on circumstances that are too vast to discuss without endless digressions. I laid out general considerations for this in the article. It can go as far as in a case I've been observing for some time now and I will detail further.

Geomantic figures in ritual

Unfortunately this is not some method on working magical operations with the geomantic figures. I for one do it following Scott's planetary rituals so use that coz it works very well.

It just so happens I was notified the other day my Star and Stone copy had arrived and I realized again that simply going through it during the editing process has allowed certain information from there to stick to me. Me (!!!), someone who's divination challenged.

Anyway, my mind started making these weird associations this morning while I was waiting for the subway: how geomantic figures relate to a magical ritual. So, as stupid and useless as it might be, here it is.

Book review: Star and Stone

A short background is in order before reviewing Star and Stone

During the editing of Asteria, El Maximo Exponente de la Magia took it upon himself to teach me how to rub my dice... ahem! Geomancy. I told him several times I am divination challenged but instead of being discouraged by that, the illustrious Professor patiently assisted me in the learning process while drastically punishing me whenever I made mistakes: "You think with your weewee!" he kept saying. In my defense, those were readings about sex so...

Anyway, I kept asking him to make videos on his YT channel to explain wtf he was trying to teach me because my mind works better by processing visual images of concepts. So to me it's useless I can understand every word of a sentence and the sentence as a whole because if my mind cannot create an image of the essence of that sentence... cannot compute. "No!" answered the grumpy Manticore, "no one learns geomancy from videos" he continued while grumpily instructing me onward. (Raise your hands if you want the meanie to keep posting woowoo videos!!! Hasn't posted in ages ffs!!! Carelessly keeps growing a beard instead...) I asked him to write a damn book about it several times, each time getting another grumpy "No!" because apparently "no one reads books on geomancy."
