Ohnevel

Ohnevel is one of the angels of the Shemhamphorash and is said to "protect against accidents, maintain health and heal, dominate trade and businessmen, influence business". According to some sources he is attributed to the half-decan 10°-15° Taurus. 

I've worked with him in the past for business related stuff, with little to no success. Recently something came up and, since the chart was awful for other forces I would've worked with in such a case, I decided to work with him instead. This time I called on him for healing.

The little fellow in the picture showed up on my balcony one morning. I have no clue whether it's male or female since I don't know much about pigeons. It looked sickly and tired. It moved very little and was barely able to fly one feet off the floor when I tried to get to it to see whether it had any physical injuries. I decided not to stress it and instead poured a copious amount of breadcrumbs nearby and laid out a plate of water. 

I looked up pigeon afflictions and several sources pointed to possible bacteria infection that can be fatal. Its body posture and somewhat ruffled feathers were sure signs of that. Come to think of it, I keept seeing dead pigeons in my neck of the woods and thought some sort of epidemic might be running amok. 

I looked up the chart and decided to work with Ohnevel, but the time his half-decan was rising was some eight hours away so I had nothing to to but wait till then. I decided to have the half-decan rising because celestial energies are the strongest when on this angle and also because it's said to be the source of life and also represents the physical body.

At some point the bird began grooming itself and eating regularly which gave me hope. I kept laying out food and to my delight it devoured it. Since I didn't want to stress it out, I decided not to remove one of its feathers to use as a link. Also, none of its feathers dropped loose and I took it as a good sign. Therefore, I took some of its poop to use as the link since all that food made its digestion work overtime. That too was a good sign since the sources mentioned pigeons suffering from such an infection can be apathetic and have difficulty eating.

Since I had a lot of time until the ritual, I also did a geomantic reading asking whether it'll heal. I interpreted the court as being good for healing, but also consulted Mr. Farrell's dice book that said the court was good for illness going away. The little guy showed up as Puer which was good, signaling it was pumped up and ready to fight, but only for a short time. Wanting to make sure my interpretation was accurate, I also buzzed Mr. Farrell himself and he confirmed the positive answer.

At any rate, the time came and I did the ritual. I couldn't focus enough to chat with the angel, but I got a message along the lines I'd be amazed by the results. I thanked him and sent him on his way to do his thing. The reading about the ritual was inconclusive in regards to the court, but the chart looked promising. I gave the pigeon more food and decided to see what the following day will bring.

I woke up next morning to find all the food gone and the pigeon gone as well. I looked around my building to see whether it dropped dead somewhere around the place as others had and found nothing. I'm not 100% the bird completely healed but considering it couldn't have flown off if it were sick, I think Ohnevel has done a very good job in a very short time. On top of immediate and complete healing, he was also tasked to maintain the bird's health and now the little fellow is in his hands.
