ASTERIA 2

Asteria Unveiled: Celestial mysteries revealed

Has finally published by Lord Manticore. FINALLY!!!

This is the followup volume to Asteria, a work that branches out from its predecessor and expands on various applications of astrology in magick. Even though some concepts presented inside come with short explanations, the material requires people to be readily aware of it since it was explained in detail in Asteria. So if you are not familiar with those concepts you could read Asteria first or look up whatever information you require using various other sources when you come across it in the second book.

Asteria Unveiled addresses both older concepts which it masterfully discusses in new ways, and newer ones which it thoroughly details, offering more than enough information for people to enrich their magical practices. There were cases where it was necessary to skip over most of the explanations and not because we're jerks or anything, but because they would require entire volumes and, truth be told, it would make a pretty much boring read anyway. As a result, we injected the text with highly concentrated small doses of explanations just so readers would understand the concepts presented. So although this book has less number of pages than Asteria, the highly concentrated doses of knowledge it contains would keep people busy for a long time.

Besides the two authors of Asteria, this book features two additional ones so readers are likely to encounter even more diversity when it comes to styles and approaches. This is especially the case since each author has their own themes they discuss.

In my previous teaser I mentioned this book being comprised of ten articles. Well, that's changed literally over night because yours truly had a last moment epiphany and decided to "MacGyver" an eleventh article at light-speed when we were hours away from finishing the editing and overall formatting. But enought about this because I image you'd be interested in more details about the book itself, not some moron praising himself.

What follows is the table of contents:

And here's the list of tables:

And here's the list of figures:

And here's some random screenshots from throughout the book:

That should suffice since it's more than enough to give you an idea on the diversity of topics covered within this book's pages. But then again here's some behind the scenes screenshots so you'd have an idea of the horrors I had to experience back during the time we wrote Asteria and all these code stuff was new to me:

If anyone comes across any typo or anything like that, it's on me, at least up to the point I finished with it. Then software issues started happening and I have no idea how the final product looks like. In any case, the information presented inside should come across pretty easily.

This is the last book of mine, or one in which I've contributed, anyway. I will keep posting on this here blog though, because it's more casual and I can offer at least a few gold nuggets every now and then. So all ye occult "shenanigan-ists" won't get rid of me that easily ;)

Hate on, dum-dums!
