Caution

Mars is currently in exile in Libra and thus it's very weak, but it's getting closer to becoming super strong in Scorpio. The downside is that it'll be combust for much of the time it'll spend in Scorpio. Therefore, despite the fact it'll greatly overpower the Sun, it's combustion will make its energies erratic. Just wanted to remind people of this in case anyone's thinking of contacting their personal pentacle maker (who in many cases has no clue of astrology) and asking for a Martian pentacle.

The good thing is Mars will be cazimi towards the end of Scorpio, which is a very good thing. One should take advantage of this (if their geographical location allows for Mars cazimi to be rising or culminating at the time).

Venus, however will be very strong in Libra at the time, this year unimpeded by combustion.

Egyptian magix

No, I'm not going to discuss the PGM or various other ancient Egyptian magical sources. I'm sure there are self proclaimed experts in that field as well, but who cares about them?

I just so happened to come across this video by chance, which depicts part of an audiobook focused on Egyptian magix. In it you'll find a more detailed account of the story of Isis and Ra I briefly exemplified in Words. Additionally, I'm sure that whenever you get to that part, which follows shortly after the aforementioned story, you'll understand why some medieval grimoires employ quite a few names of God in their orations, conjurations, etc.

As of a few months ago someone from Singapore has been visiting my blog. Not only have they looked through the articles, but they've made more views than anyone else combined.

I know Dr. Stephen Skinner lives in Singapore although I doubt he'd be wasting his time reading my blog. Otherwise, I know no one else there. 

Therefore, who are you? Post a quick comment so I'd know you're a real person and not some bot. If you don't mind, that is.

Question on Cielos

One of my readers recently asked me why I haven't included the planetary pentacles (scroll down) from the KoS in Cielos. While it would've been a good means to make the book thicker, information over them is readily available such as in the link I already tagged. Additionally, it should be easy to comprehend by a non-English speaker using free online translation.

What I have done in Cielos was to include a distinct section on talismans. It can be found in section 5.1 on page 131, chapter 5 (Trabajo complementario). The section itself is a little over thee pages long and offers quite a few important details on the subject, besides underlying the importance of making use of proper astro times when making them and giving them life. If one wants them to work to their benefit, that is. The book also provides astro details that are the minimum requirement in terms of elections, but not everyone uses them (especially those who solely seek to earn a quick buck).

Street magix

Over time I've come across accounts of people who've done successful magical stuff while outside the comfort of their usual ritual space. More exactly, they've successfully undertaken magical operations while being fully immersed in the mundane environment. I don't doubt that and here's my account.

The following experiment has been successfully reproduced more than once so far. Truth be told, the success took longer to manifest in some cases, but no more than an hour. My goal was to banish certain people who were disturbing the peace from a certain area for good. In most cases it was a public park and the people in question were often drunked youths who were drawing attention to that area, a place where some of us older folks were busy enjoying ourselves... differently.

Garden magix update

A short while ago I posted this article about my magical endeavors in regards to gardening. I think I was uninspired at the time to take the picture of the plant in question at night, even though using camera flash, but I guess it's revealing enough even so.

Today I went out to wanter the plant yet again and saw its leafs we're not only a bit more developed, but their number increased as well. Given it's been almost ten days since I took the previous photo, I find this very encouraging.

I also consider making some talismans that are good for growing crops (and/or removing pests) and burying them at the root of the rose plant to see how that will work over time. Unfortunately, I have not the time to do any serious planning on that, but will likely post about it in the eventuality I'll go ahead with this idea at some point. Will probably zap some tap water with certain juju and water the plant with it before making any talismans so any effects from that should be interesting.

Will keep posting on this topic depending on future developments.

Road opening talisman

A couple of months ago I was gifted the silver bracelet depicted in the above photo. I'm not a jewelry person and I don't like having loose things on me so I was rather reluctant to wear it. But then it came to me I can use it to my advantage regardless.

Since I had nothing special planned around that time so I decided to do a Hecate road opening ritual on it. Given it's metal, it was a no brainer, otherwise I was thinking of calling on the lunar hierarchy over it. Unfortunately, I couldn't find at least a decent lunar election at the time.
