Mercury retrograde experiment

Now that Mercury retro's almost over it's time to reveal the results of my magical experiment I've conducted based on the methods I discuss in Magick Pills for Hard Transits. 

The experiment consisted in me casting on a relative to help them get through this period without unnecessary obstacles and them performing a simple petition to Mercury for the same purpose, the likes I've discussed here (something I offer as an example in the aforementioned book). Meanwhile, I was the control sample and did nothing for myself. I didn't even rely on my talismans whenever I had to undertake several tasks, just so I'd remove any magical backup that would have me overcome some of the effects of the retro. I only had my charm and good looks that have been magically enhanced beforehand and which cannot be returned to their factory settings without having to cast again for that purpose, something I'm not willing to do because I spent a lot of time waiting for proper times to perform such things on myself - they're ongoing. I offered a brief example of this in Magic Words.

Coming soon

Making this short post to announce the appearance of my planetary magick book that will be published very soon. The book will only be available in Spanish since there's already way too much material on this subject in English. 

But this one is mine so you should expect it to differ more or less from what's out there ;) And it will be available only on Lulu.

Quick astro weather forecast

Here's a quick astro forecast for the seven classical planets. It should help people with little astrological knowledge figure out which planets are good to work with for some time. The idea is not to be stupid (or greedy) and work with planets (for money) during inauspicious times. For more details look up Asteria. 

Notice I tagged each planet and each respective tag is to an article about a talismanic election. You can give it a shot by making those talismans whenever the right time comes or do whichever other working with your planet of choice.

Purely astronomical

With a little over a month until the summer solstice I want to discuss a bit on these astronomical events. Over time I've encountered quite a few occultists who have a boner for solstices. They go out of their way to flood social media with pretty or more nauseating pictures of altars and all that, showing off the physical aspects of their solar workings at those times.

In reality, solstices are not that important from a planetary magick perspective. Sure, there are esoteric implications and symbolism and you can take advantage of the overall natural energetic patterns as we've mentioned in Asteria, but for planetary work they are irrelevant. Even worse, they are inauspicious times for working with the Sun.

Picatrix decan talismans

Mars has entered its decan in Pisces and afterwards it will enter its decan in Aries. Besides the obvious increase in the planet's strength, in the former case due to triplicity and decan and in the latter by its domicile and decan, this is a good time for decan talismans.

Talisman - sixteenth lunar mansion

The following is a not so perfect election for the sixteenth lunar mansion. The following descriptions of the mansion appears in Book IV, Chapter 9 of the Picatrix:

"The sixteenth Mansion is Azebene, and it is for the making of money. When the Moon has passed around to this Mansion, fashion in a plate of silver the figure of a man seated in a throne and carrying a scale in his hands. Cense [the image] with fine odors, and set it out under the stars for seven nights, saying each night: 'You, Azeruch, make such and such happen for me, and complete for me my request'. Ask of it pertaining to selling and earning. And know that Azeruch is the name of the lord of this Mansion."
