Meh astro forecast

The New Year begins with mixed planetary strengths. In fact, all but one of the seven classical planets is meh atm in terms of strength, to say the least.

A new lunation began today in Capricorn, the sign of the Moon's exile. It also squared the nodes so we should be in for a rather interesting fortnight. The Moon will increase until becoming Full in Leo (where it will square Jupiter).

Mercury has recently turned direct although it's still in exile in Sagittarius and slower than usual. Not a good idea to work with its forces until the planet at least passes its previous retrograde station point in Capricorn.

Venus is halfway through Sagittarius. For more potent magical workings, it'd b better off for it to enter Capricorn in order to benefit from increased strength due to that added by triplicity.

The Sun is in its decan in Capricorn, meaning it's got at least some strength. In less than ten days it'll enter Aquarius and thus be at its weakest, so best take advantage of what is available right now.

Mars is currently strong, being exalted in Capricorn. Its strength is somewhat lessened due to it still being under sunbeams, but that will pass within a few days.

Jupiter is now direct in Taurus, but still weak.

Saturn is now direct in its decan of Pisces, but rather weak as well.
