El Maximo Exponente de la Magia

A few days ago, Mario (the artist who made the splendid cover for Asteria - link to the right of the page) posted a thread about receiving his copy. Besides mentioning querido Shaman and yours truly, Mario also named Lord Manticore, whom he referred to as El Maximo Exponente de la Magia (fireworks effects!), an even more superior over the top title than the ones I've been calling good ol' Nick by so far.

So big up for you, Mario!

Therefore, henceforth, I will be using this title of Nick's more often and I've already started doing it in my recent articles. Besides finding it to be a pretty title, I think it fits perfectly with the vast superior over the top magical experience and knowledge Mr. Farrell has acquired so far. I imagine he must be some kind of Magister Templi (at least) by now, something he no wanna talk about. I also imagine he's one of the few, if not the only, people alive with direct connection with the original Golden Dawn current (yea, that of Mathers&co), through his contacts of the former Smaragdum Thalasses aka Whare Ra temple down in Kiwiland. But he no wanna talk about that either. Prolly because now he's ever so seriously Pagan and sticks to his ever so serious Pagan stuff in an ever so serious way.

Decan talisman - First decan of Virgo

And another quick post on a pretty decan talisman, this time for the first decan of Virgo, decan of Sol. 

Latin Picatrix:

"A beautiful girl covered over with a woolen sheet and holding in her hand a
pomegranate. And this is a face of sowing, of plowing, of the making of trees to sprout, of gathering bunches of grapes and of the good life."

Arabic Picatrix:

"The image of a virgin maid wearing an old dress and holding a pomegranate in her hand appears in the first phase of [Virgo]. This is the phase of the Sun, and it denotes plowing and planting, grass and plants, buildings and wealth, and righteousness."

Decan talisman - third decan of Leo

Yours truly again with another easy to do Picatrix decan talisman. This one is for the third decan of Leo, decan of Mars. 

The Latin Picatrix mentions the following:

"An old man black and foul, holding fruit and meat in his mouth and a jug covered
with copper in his hand. And this is a face of love and delight, and trays [of food?] and of good fortune."

And the Arabic Picatrix:

"The image of an ugly man who looks like a Negro with a fruit and a piece of meat in his mouth and a kettle in his hand appears in its third phase. This is the phase of [Mars], and it indicates friendliness, rewards, affection, participation and harmony."

Marketing, they say...

A few days ago I received an email from a cousin of mine containing many words I didn't read before I sent out a short reply. Among those many words there were some that made it seem like he was instructing me on to start internet advertising for "the internet thing" I'm doing, something he knows very little of, for the better. He went on to tell me how I should start doing live videos to promote my stuff, networking, lots of social media and YouTube stuff, and so on... 

That is not my style. During the editing of Asteria, El Maximo Exponente de la Magia (as of recently) told me I'm trying to sell myself to the world in a certain context, to which I replied that is correct. However, I am doing it my way. That is to say, I will do so one-on-one with the possible customer whenever they e-mail me for magical services. They get the good, the bad, and the ugly directly in their inbox and they are left with the choice to either go ahead with it or move on. Besides that, they can look up this blog as I try to update it on a regular basis.

Overcoming Natal Retrogrades

A few years ago I came across online magical services that are said to help those who have a certain planet retrograde in their natal chart. I was in no need of such a service so I scrolled on.

Earlier this year someone reminded me of those services. It came to me that I have been performing certain magical operations on both myself and others for specific purposes and how those purposes included natal retrograde planets, albeit in many cases the actual purpose was less retrograde oriented and was instead focused on other things. Nevertheless, the magical operations helped those people overcome the effects of their natal retrograde planet as well. That is an understatement because, for reasons I cannot disclose in order not to spoil the whole thing, their natal planet behaved... differently altogether. 

Experiment

I am sharing the following experiment in hope someone will be interested in it and test the method for longer than I have and more often. So far I have done it a bunch of times in the past and repeated it every now and then. The success rate was quite impressive, although the subjects of the tests were in their normal waking consciousness every time - you will see why that might be relevant. 

The method I am proposing and which I have mentioned on social media back in the day is the use of a pendulum for communicating with someone who cannot speak or express themselves for certain reasons: they are incapacitated, they are in a coma, etc. If this method would prove successful it has a great potential in terms of applications, whether for talking to people who are in coma about their condition or even to pets or animals in general for various reasons. 

Future project

For anyone interested: yours truly is currently involved in another major project alongside those who have become his partners in crime by now: querido Shaman and Lord Manticore. I do not know when the project will be complete and available to the general public.

What I can say is that we are trying to capitalize on the success Asteria is having and branch out into the complex universe of the involvement of astrology in practical magical operations. We are well into it so far, but I have no idea when it will be completed especially since Lord Manticore is currently finishing his own project that details on... rubbing one's dice. More on that subject at a future time. I myself am involved in two other personal projects I will detail on at the appropriate time. One is close to completion and the other is already in its Briatic phase, for all you Qabalists out there.
