Hail Hecate!

About five weeks ago (5 x 7 days) I was contacted by a man who desperately needed to go abroad to start a new job. The problem was he didn't have the money for that endeavor, nor could he come up with it in such a short time. He was barely able to pay me for my ritual service.

Besides the plane ticket, he also had to undergo certain medical exams that would determine he's fit for work. He then had to appeal to a professional legal translator to translate that paperwork, after which he had to legalize that paperwork for it to be accepted by his soon to be employer.

The problem was time because, although he had already signed an employment contract, he was required to show up at his new job no later than November 1 otherwise the deal was off. His future employer was in dire need of employees and he basically made use of the "first come first serve" method, after each candidate was accepted and the contract was signed, anyway. 

Since the situation was desperate, I looked up the best decent time for a Hecate road opening ritual, thinking that it would have to do on such a short notice. I had already discussed the complexity of the situation with the man, something that required at least two rituals given the circumstances involved and he agreed a road opening would be the best choice. I figured that he needed to get to point A to point B and the road opening would take care of anything that stands in his way, regardless of the nature of its complexity. The thing is the less complex an obstacle or a series of obstacles, the more likely the ritual would succeed. My concern was the nature of the obstacles differed a lot in some cases to the nature of the ritual. Besides the need for money, he also had to resolve some paperwork and in some cases that can take longer. Even so, these things are quite different than anything related to traffic delays and stuff like that. 

I did the ritual during waxing Moon in Pisces and notified the man, asking him to keep me posted on the situation. Since I received no news from him in the following weeks I started thinking the ritual was a bust. I had initially told him to get my ritual script and do it himself since it would've fost him five times less and it had the potential to work better since the ritual were to have acted directly on him, but he refused despite how much I told him anyone can do it successfully. As it turned out, things worked out very much in his favor!

Although the man was at odds with his sister, his brother-in-law gave him some money and even started a collect at his office. Even his nieve chipped in with the small allowance money she received from school once a month. It turned out one of his friends was dating a legal translator and so he was able to have his medical papers translated for a smaller fee. He also borrowed money from some friends to have that translation legalized by a notary and even managed to receive some extra cash just in case he'd be in dire need when he gets to his destination. The upside was that his employer would provide him a room and he would have to return the first month's rent during the following months after he started getting paid, so luckily for him he didn't have to come up with additional money.

He reached his destination late on the night of October 30 and rested throughout the following day so he'd be fresh for work first thing in the morning. He only emailed me last evening telling me all about his adventures because his schedule has been full, having to get accustomed to his new job, the town ,etc. So there you have it. Apparently I should be expecting a present from him for Christmas as a token of his gratitude, but I'm just glad the ritual worked. And he paid for it so no need for additional material displays of gratitude, hehe.
