Why, you ask...

Today I received an email from someone's I've never been in touch with asking me why I charge "so much" for my services, implying it's too much and basically accusing me of taking advantage of people. This left me speechless for a moment and when I snapped out of it I considered it unnecessary to reply. But I will reply here.

I've been actively involved in the occult for almost ten years now. During this whole time I've encountered many occult service providers, each charging their own prices for their particular services. Every so often I encountered people charging different prices for different types of spells. The reason for this eludes me to this day, since I charge the same price for any demand, regardless of whether it concerns love, money, health, curses and so on. At one time I used to charge an additional $10 to my usual amount for performing Enochian rituals, but later I decided to perform them solely for myself.

Anyway, even back when I started my practice I noticed people charging in the hundreds of dollars for simple candle spells. Later on I came across people charging in the thousands for all sorts of spells and rituals. Moreover, I noticed practitioners who perform magical services for money barely offer even the most meager explanation to the client in regards to how shit works, what to expect as results in regards to their demands, not to mention if the heavens are more or less favorable to their desires at the time.

In short, people usually grab at the opportunity to receive easy money, do the thing and bye-bye. Without blowing my own horn, I've spent more than enough time with certain clients in endless discussions relating to their needs. I've done that for free and in some cases it worked out very well while in others not at all. My point is I'm used to conduct my business differently than what can basically be compared to the way brothels operate, i.e. pay, benefit, leave.

If people feel the need to ask why I charge $100 for a ritual despite it being less than what others charge, in spite of concerns I've received over time from people who considered considered I charge too low and irrespective irrespective of the fact this is only the second time I've raised my rates, it's their right to do so. But if they do it in an accusatory manner, then they can ask for the services of someone charging more than double or triple that amount, or simply <<insert extremely obnoxious Romanian verbal curse of a highly explicit pornographic nature involving themselves and their mother>>!

Keep in mind there are tarot readers out there who charge $100 for a single reading! A spirit conjuration ritual in which the person draws as much power as possible is something far beyond tarot in my opinion...
