For the past several weeks I've taken part in a magical campaign of great importance to help a woman get rid of a parasite that was affecting her life more and more with each passing day. Said parasite came into her life and took advantage of her kindness. They began what appeared to be a pretty relationship, but things started going bad after a while. I cannot go into details because they are to remain hush-hush so I will simply say the parasite started draining her of energy and veered her off course from her life path, something she was diligently putting effort to stay on.
Shortly into the campaign it became clear the parasite was under the influence of chthonic forces. While he was unaware of that, he made use of whatever benefits those forces allowed him to borrow from them without him knowing what he was doing exactly, and used those benefits to control the woman and tighten that control. On the surface he was posing as a very open minded spiritualist keen to help people with his alleged spiritual knowledges, but beneath he was a meager beggar clinging on to a roof over his head and control over someone of the opposite sex.
Things worked smoothly for the most part, the only blockages encountered along the way being the woman's demands not to create a hurricane in her life in the process of removing the parasite for good. This was a no biggie for the most part, but there were times when at least a tropical storm would've done the job easier. Yet the fact that she agreed to perform certain magical operations herself and followed through with that meant a great deal, as is the parasite found himself defenseless despite his chthonic backup.
The parasite left yesterday! He said he might return even though that is not the woman's will and interest. Now that he's away from her he's a walking target and I can easily prevent him from returning, one way or another... but her kindness is preventing me from doing so (which I find ever so unfortunate). She has started to cleanse her home of whatever spuch he might've left behind and is also focused on self-healing at the moment, which is good because he's also used magical means to control her.
I want to thank her for appealing to yours truly and doing the work herself! Big up for you, dude! I also want to thank her for having used my *spirit conjuring class* and methods from my *book on relationships* in her work - special-ops methods had to be employed because she didn't want to splatter his brains all over the netherworld... I for one made use of several rituals that needed precise timing to affect the maximum amount of change necessary, using methods presented in Asteria. I also used a couple of methods that will affect him for life from something I will likely present soon, but no one needs to know about them >:)
