This article applies to life in general, not just to the magical universe. It addresses people who seek magical help from people like myself while acting pathetic. The tarot card Five of Pentacles is a Minor Arcana card attributed to the first decan of Taurus, ruled by the planet Mercury. Its general meanings are financial loss, poverty, isolation, homelessness, lack mindset, and worry, among other things.
There are many people out there who manifest the energies of this card. Some of them are being offered help from others, while some seek that help. Regardless of the scenario, these people will often end up sabotaging themselves and/or the person(s) whom they've asked for help or who has offered to help them. When this happens, they will usually blame the other person, besides whining and bitching about how miserable their life is.
This is because the Five of Pentacles card also indicates a feeling that the world is against you. And this includes anyone, even those who try to help them. So whenever someone who is embodying these energies ends up sabotaging the help that is offered to them they will inflate their victim mentality even more. This can result in future unpleasantness for the person who tried to help them in the first place, as his or her reputation can end up being damaged by false accusations spread by the Five of Pentacles person, while the latter will move on to find someone else to ask for help. And the cycle repeats itself.
As you can see, the image of the card depicts two people in rags walking through a snow blizzard and passing by a church. The female in the picture is barefoot and has her head covered by a shawl. Her head is tilted down. The male is crippled and is moving around using crutches. Light is shining through the stained glass window of the church, symbolizing the warmth inside, among other things. The female cannot see the light shining through the window. The male looks at the window, yet keeps on going, without even telling the woman. This points to the inability to see help when it is offered and also to refuse it.
This kind of situation is common in the occult universe. I for one have often come across people who flood me with their problems expecting me to wave a wand and make them go away and turn their lives around. They do not know things don't work that way and they don't even want to accept the explanation behind it. In simple words, real magick does not work like in the movies! The person is to follow up on the magical work by doing their part in the mundane! Otherwise there is a high chance for failure.
So if you are a Five of Pentacles and you come to me to bitch and whine about your problems just because you offer me money, know that I don't want your money! Take it and spend it somewhere else. Or don't, because you're gonna feel sorry afterwards if you spend them!
Oh, and then there's those whom people refer to as being Askholes. Such individuals keep asking for advice and then won't follow up on that advice upon receiving it. So if you're an askhole (too)... get lost!!!
