Next month Mercury will be cazimi in Gemini. This particular configuration would be extremely auspicious for magical work, especially talismans.
However, things are not as pleasant in the heavens at that time, thus hindering any mercurial energies from manifesting whatever people desire of them. As you can see in the chart, my location does not permit having Mercury rising or culminating while cazimi. If you live in another time zone it's possible that configuration will be available for you. If not, know that any mercurial energies you may employ in a magical working at the time, although very powerful, would probably be less likely to manifest your exact desire due to their location in a certain house at the time.
Even so, you should be careful in order to calculate an election that doesnt occur during a Void of Course. Said lunar event has a tendency to render things fruitless. Moreover, the Moon will be involved in an applying opposition at the time, something inauspicious for beneficial elections.
Thus, this Mercury cazimi is problematic in regards to astro elections for magical work.
I for one will not work with Mercury cazimi on that day, but will probably make use of its combustion in mischievous ways. Mind you, don't buy mercurial talismans made during Mercury combust!
In my timezone, the Mercury Cazimi will be at dawn - but it's still square Saturn and the Moon (not VOC). Would making a talisman at that time be worth it, you reckon, or the moon/saturn situation still too troublesome?
ReplyDeleteHmmm lucky you although in that case I'd still avoid making a talisman for beneficial purposes due to the Moon's condition since it'll hinder the manifestation effects. It's best in my opinion to wait for Mercury to enter Virgo. I haven't looked up any election for that time so I guess I'll have to do it and post about it. Mercury is, in my opinion, the hardest planet to work with when it comes to elections so making the best of it would be in order whatever the wait.

On the one hand, I do a lot of Mercury-domain stuff (eg freelance writing), OTOH I have Gemini Mercury Cazimi in my natal chart, so it's already very strong, OT-O-OH, am I perfect writer with perfect clients who needs no further assistance? I am not.

ReplyDeleteA quick look at the chart and I think September 5 or 6 should be a decent day for a Mercury talisman. Mercury will be super powerful in Virgo and waxing Moon. Being under sunbeams at that time will diminish Mercury's power a bit although not that much.
