Occultists ≠ psychologists

I've come across more than a few cases where people seek magical help, but once they share their issue they drag on when it comes to paying. They keep saying they desperately need a spell or whatever, but they keep postponing payment, all the while bitching about their shit in more and more detail. From what I've been told, other occultists have had similar experiences. 

These people do not seek magical help! They seek someone to unload their crap onto.

These people think that if they contact a practicing occultist that person is expected to waste their time on their shit for free. It's far cheaper than paying a psychologist, that's for sure. At least psychologists make a living by listening to people whine and bitch about their daily misery, regardless of how real or imaginary it may be.

An experienced occultist should be able to identify at least certain causes and provide solutions, but in such cases the alleged client does not want that. They simply want to vent about their problems for free, then return to living their miserable lives, only to return to vent once more and so on. They do not want change, let alone do they want something to cause change.

That being said, my recommendation for occult service providers would be to be straightforward and to the point when it comes to dealing with potential new clients. If, after telling them the service and the price they will not pay within a week or so, regardless of how badly they initially said they wanted it, it's best to blacklist them. This is especially the case if they keep sending the same laments throughout this whole time.

Also, this is unrelated but it's nonetheless in the same tone. If occultists who know a thing or two about astrology offer people one or two answers about some natal aspect or placement, this is not an invitation for the querent to expect they will have their whole chart analyzed for free. There are plenty of free sources out there that provide more than enough details about natal astrology. One only needs to know where to look and, first and foremost, get of their ass and start searching. If I was able to learn for free online, so can anyone else!
