Follow-up work

One has better chances of success in magical work by actively enforcing the spell on a physical level. I've learned this early on from people like Scott who know what they're doing and are very good at it. If you cast for a job, you also apply your resume to more than a few offers, show up at interviews and do your best. If you cast for love, you expose yourself to the world more often, mingle, socialize and do your best. And so on.

But this article deals with the follow-up work from another perspective. I've noticed more than once that spells aimed at a person to create microcosmic changes, such as physical or psychological healing, often impose the need for the person to conduct certain works for and on themselves. Although I'm not coming up with any theory, the probability for such an occurrence ought not to be overlooked by people who cast on both their and others' microcosm.

Failure to do so can generate tensions in the individual on whom the spell was cast. This can cause more unpleasant outcomes later on and what could have been a successful spell goes bust. Again, I'm not coming up with any theory as this needs further study and experimenting, but the so called blockages a person is sometimes said to put up against a spell that would benefit them can be explained thusly.

Those are not blockages per se, as in the individual is not willing to cause them by raising barriers. Not consciously, nor subconsciously, nor unconsciously, nor whatever other state consciousness out there. They arise when the person's own consciousness receives certain signals from the force powering the spell that affects them, but the individual fails to recognize those signals or misinterprets them. Thus, the target of a beneficial spell may recoil from those signals, even go as far as to start panicking or worse. This can be the case even when the individual had cast on themselves or had asked an experienced occultist to do so.

Any adverse reactions to such signals can be considered blockages put up by the person. Again, it's not as if the individual is stubbornly rejecting the influences of a spell, but that they do not understand what's going on and in many such cases the natural response is fear and withdrawal. The spell is left to do its thing, but key components of the healing process remain inactive and thus not even a reasonable result is observed even after a considerable time.

When considering those key components, we must understand that one's personal consciousness is being activated by the spell on several levels that are connected to the person's current state of lack of well-being. The spell works its way through those levels and makes necessary modifications to restore the energy balance, but some cases require the individual to take an active part in the restoration process. Here is where those signals come into play.

One's consciousness receives them as a hail. Once the person becomes aware of something taking place within their consciousness as a result of focusing their attention towards that hail, the signals become signs and the person is best to follow them. Those signs can be in the form of memories, concepts, song lyrics, etc. The form in which they present themselves is irrelevant. What is important is they are in some way meaningful to that person and the person can become aware of certain paths they are to take by acknowledging the meaning of those signs.

As a result of having comprehended the meaning, the individual is lead to perform certain pathworking style sessions, various exercises of an energetic or mental nature and so on. By performing those works, the person will deal with certain imbalances that had caused their present state of lack of well-being and will do so hand in hand with the spell. But they will do so from their own perspective and it may often happen they are lead to the heart of the matter, representing the initial cause behind their current condition, a cause they will come to consciously understand either gradually or on the first go.

Once that cause has been comprehended, the person may be lead by the spell towards performing additional works towards improving their condition. Again, they will be working hand in hand with the spell. Or, it may be the case the individual only had to become conscious of the cause in order for the spell to do it's thing further on, possibly through newer microcosmic pathways that have become (more) accessible through the person's becoming conscious.

An actual example is from last year. A person with circulatory issues has benefited from a particular healing and had been told about it in advance. They even underwent surgery followed by a lengthy recovery process which included a certain amount of physical effort and proper medication. The healing ritual was done before the surgery and the person began having particular dreams and took notice of them. By noticing certain patterns they began to work their way back to what they considered the cause.

Most importantly, the person was reminded of having the natural talent of sensing manipulating auric energy easier than others, to the point they could alleviate their own physical pains as well as others' by placing their hands over the sore spot and performing certain gestures. The person thus began using that method on the area that was to be operated on and continued doing so even after the surgery. Having proceeded in performing worl on the self, the certain inner pathways of theirs became more accessible for the force unleashed by the healing ritual. It thus became easier for the fprce to permiate the person and do its thing. As a result, their current health is very good and doctors said the recovery process went incredibly increased well.

Along with other cases with similar manifestations, it has lead me to believe it is extremely important to inform the beneficiary of such spells of the potential manifesting of influences. They are also to be told that they are best not to ignore or fear them, but instead to follow-up on whatever they may experience. Otherwise, it may happen the person will botch a perfectly good working by basically running away from it, without even realizing it.

A theoretical example can also be constructed. If you're a loser, part of a bunch of fucktards who among many other crap teach that alchemy is for psychological growth, you can actually do some kind of soul alchemy the following way. Let's say one such fucktard realizes one day he's an arrogant ass without actually having any ground for that, as he's actually a laughable loser. He would call on appropriate entities and asks them to change that flawed trait of his into something that would actually benefit him.

I'm pretty sure sooner or later after the ritual he will start receiving the signals I've mentioned. He would eventually be lead to do, say, a pathworking that has him facing his actual pathetic self he's so desperately trying to brush under the rug. During the pathworking or in a following one he'd be lead to produce certain changes inside his inner astral realm that, through the overarching influence of the ritual will grow into a transformation of those traits. Instead of a twat who prefers to shove his feelings for someone deep down while posing as if he doesn't care, he'd become confident to speak his mind without being ashamed he's doing so.
